These boots are perfect for cold and wet weather, keeping your child’s feet comfortably warm and dry. Aspen has a foot-friendly shape – the wide toe box allows natural toe movement, while the narrower heel ensures a more secure fit. The flexible rubber sole provides good grip, and the reflective detail on the heel improves visibility in the dark. The removable wool insoles help track your child’s foot growth and can be taken out for drying and airing after use. Where and when to wear: A great alternative to winter boots on wetter days. Fit: Bundgaard rubber boots are a good fit for feet of wide width. These boots are suitable for high instep and don’t fit for a low instep. Rubber boots cannot be well attached to the ankle, meaning they should fit the kid’s feet very well – not be too wide or too high. If shoes are not well attached to the ankle, we unconsciously use our feet muscles to keep them on. This causes tension in the muscles and prevents blood circulation. Most kids are not able to determine if shoes fit them well which is why we as parents need to make sure the boots are a good fit.
