Because rubber boots cannot be fastened to the foot, the fit must be perfect—neither too wide nor too high—to prevent the child from holding the boot with their toes. Rubber boots cannot be well attached to the ankle, meaning they should fit the kid’s feet very well – not be too wide or too high. If shoes are not well attached to the ankle, we unconsciously use our feet muscles to keep them on. This causes tension in the muscles and prevents blood circulation.
