In ours & many others experience, the Twins are perfect for every day riding in 99% of conditions.However, when you pick up the pace & push on a little more, the suspension could be better.Thats because the standard shocks cant maintain composure of the bike at a high pace.Thats why we think these shocks are a great upgrade & well worth having. These shocks are beautifully made & look like pure class in their detail & finnish.The quality of these shocks is high & the machining looks great.They also offer, easily adjustable (progressive) spring preload using the supplied tool.Rebound can be adjusted by hand with a knurled adjuster at the bottom of the leg & works with a reassuring click.Compression damping is done using an adjuster on the reservoir. You can even adjust the length ( 10mm max) using the threaded adjuster at the very bottom of the leg.You will need some set up time to personalise your set up & get the very best out of these shock, but its well worth that effort. Once set to your own weight & riding style, you will find the ride way more compliant & surefooted too.The difference was easily noticeable to us & we thought the bike felt much more premium than before.In addition, the sexy black finish & detail looks the business!
